Amber L. Mied is a shareholder with Mied Law Group, P.C. Admitted to practice law in Arizona and California, she is an aggressive domestic relations litigator. Ms. Mied consults with parents and advocates for parental rights in conflictual custody litigation, frequently involving complex psychological issues, child abuse and issues of addiction.
Ms. Mied has been engaged in the private practice of law since she began her career in 1997. Prior to incorporating Mied Law Group, P.C., she was an associate attorney with a major California law firm where she litigated hundreds of matters at the Superior court level and was lead counsel in a matter heard before the California Court of Appeals.
Ms. Mied has been recognized as one of the Valley’s “Top 40 Under 40” entrepreneurs and has provided legal analysis in both broadcast and print media. She is a frequent lecturer in the area of domestic relations having sat as a panelist most recently in programs entitled Alternative Dispute Resolution for Families: In and Out of the Courtroom, Litigation Ethics and Secrets of Success: Management of a Small to Mid-Size Professional Practice.
Ms. Mied is active in multiple professional organizations, including the Maricopa County Bar Association where she serves as a committee chairperson. She was selected to sit on the State Bar Task Force dedicated to access to justice. She is an active member in the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, the premier national organization for family law professionals dedicated to improving the lives of children and families through the resolution of family conflict.
Ms. Mied is a Valley radio personality as co-host of Perfect Game, heard Sundays from 2-5:00 PM MST on Independent 1310 KXAM. Perfect Game is a radio talk show discussing multiple topics ranging from finance to personal relationships and everything in between.
When away from the practice, Ms. Mied is a fitness enthusiast who enjoys long distance running and triathlons. She is an avid Los Angeles Lakers fan and is a hands-on parent to rescued cats, Barkley and Winston.
